I wish I had spent more nights here than at another hostel! Staff were lovely and super helpful, other tenants were quiet (silence in rooms after 12), we played ping pong for ages in a spur of the moment mini-tournament and watched humorous music videos at the bar until 2am. Also met a super-cute Argentinian that was way out of my league! Only complaint, I dropped a glove under my bed and it came out dirty, but everywhere else was super clean. Such a good night, will absolutely stay here again!

There are no that many hostels in Milan, so this one is a nice one. Good location, there's a supermarket in 5 min walking, a kitchen is ok. Wifi only is ok but only on the ground floor. Clean and friendly.

It's really good place to stay for few nights, especially when you need a cheap place to sleep (under 30EUR) while you do not have anyone to share. If you have someone to share with, you should check out some other options from booking.com or hotels.com, it's about 50-60 EUR per twin room per night. However, it's one of the best choices in a lot of cheap hostels in Milan, one of the most expensive cities in the world.

A cool party hostel. I wouldnt recommend it for those seeking peace and quiet. The underground club is fun. A bit of a walk from the nearest underground but not too far.

Zebra Hostel is simply a party hostel. Staff were very helpful, friendly and funny. The clear choice for people who want to have fun and meet new people. Definitely I highly recommend.

Great place!! Near from the city centre. You can get the tram to the centre or walk to there. The is a nice Pizzeria and a nice Ice-cream shop across the street. The staff is very helpful. Only one complain: The shower was very hot and was no way to change it. Someone told me later that in other floor the shower was cold. The price is good. I will definitely stay there again next time!!!

The hostel is in a decent location. This was our second time so its not that bad for a hostel in Milan. The only problem we had was that the neighbors were unruly and wouldn't quiet down. The newly renovated area is nice and bigger. They need to rent out fans in the summer because the rooms can be a bit hot. Overall, good experience, friendly staff.

Good location, useful kitchen, nice breakfast, excellent character . Still, no electricity connections anywhere, broken toilet seats and doors that are creaking (all things easily repairable).

the palce was great,is has a bar downstairs and even a club!! in the bar u have football table...the staff its great!...but the rooms not so good no air conditioning or fan...i was sting by moskitos all over its been like 3 weeks and i still have the moskito bites...the bed wasnt clean the pillow smelled funny...and the shower are the ones tha tu have to keep pushing the button...but the place in general i loved the vibe in the bar so cool music the breakfast is amaizing, the internet cost thoug

really cool common area. Massive with pingpong/arcade, computers, big kitchen, bar with cheap/good food and beer. The hostel itself is a great party on it's own. by far the funnest / best deal you will find in Milan

Nice modern hostel + great common areas + nice breakfast + bright clean rooms + staff was plentiful and responsive - too hot in summer. If you're bothered by heat, stay away. - some (few) mosquitoes because of open windows

the hostel is nice and clean, the unique problem is that the rooms dont have doors, and you have to use locker or your luggage, the breakfast is good, the toilets and kitchen are clean, and is near from the subway in the yellow line.

Great to stay in Milan.

You need an area where the people can talk and relax, your check out is very early and you nned to improve the quality of the breakfast.

I was most impressed with the cleanliness of Zebra hostel. I never questioned a single aspect - sheets, kitchen, bathroom. It also has a fun, light-hearted atmosphere with the whimsical zebra decor, and most guests seemed to be around the college age. However, the staff was not particularly helpful or knowledgable (random young people getting a paid rather than passionate travel / Milan enthusiasts), and breakfast was nothing special - sugary cereal and white bread toast. PS If you park a car, do it on the street perpendicular to the hostel in the blue paint spaces.

The shower taps are a little bit annoying, always turning off every 15 seconds. But was my biggest complain so I was definitely happy with my hostel choice. Directions from the Central Station were simple and easy to follow.

Everything was good but there were a lot of mosquitos... Pas cher et on se rend facilement partout!

I felt safe leaving my stuff here and the hostel provided its guests with a lot to do. This is not a good place to sleep however. There are rooms with 40 beds and there are beds in the hallway. We couldn't find the light switch so the lights stayed on until at least 1 in the morning and the other guests were loud at night.

The staff is amazing and really helpful! The rooms are huge and contain like 40 beds! I really like it!

Really cool hostel, good buffet breakfast and fun atmosphere. Despite opting for the 40 bed room, I was pleasantly surprised - the way the room is spread out/structured, it was more like being in a 12 bed room as the other beds were round the corner, practically in a different room just with no connecting door. Good location, suburb close to the metro and trams, just a couple of stops from the historic centre. Bathrooms aren't too clean though and I think I got bed bug bites from their beds!!

Awesome location! The staff speaks good english. Free breakfast (toast & jam and cereal) I was one of the people who got booked into that large room of 20 bunks. Not the worst thing though; it was half empty and the beds were nice and comfy. They only had about 12-15 lockers in that room though. Only downside is the bathrooms. The 2nd floor bathroom is being renovated, and the one in the lounge isn't working, so that left only one set of bathrooms for the entire hostel (not too crowded though).

Very good place, breakfasts, wonderful staff (and beautiful ;-) ) however - it's freezing cold in the rooms (and I'm a person who usually doesn't use the radiator during winter, so when I say cold-I mean it).

The staff was very friendly at the reception and it's very easy to move around the city using trams or the metro. Easy to meet people and only a few stops to the night life!

Great Hostel for a great stay in Milan. The location is really comfortable to reach all the major attractions, There is a fully equipped kitchen that can make you save a lot of money for the meals and to end up the staff is really helpful.

The only problem with this hostel is that some of the rooms are open so lighting is an issue but if you're traveling and staying at any hostel it's always reccommended to have an eye mask and ear plugs. The staff and location are amazing, beds comfortable and the people I met were really fun. It's the best location and price in Milan for sure.

The staff was nice, everything was clean, and it was easy to have a nice time there. But the walls between rooms aren't completely shut off from each other so you can hear EVERYTHING from every other room at night, which makes it quite difficult to sleep. Plus the construction inside the room starts at 8 am. I had a good time there, but I didn't get to sleep much.

The bathrooms are a bit dirty and the toilets don't seem to flush properly. The floors are a bit dusty, but eh, that's not really a problem. Great that they have lockers everywhere and the staff is awesome letting me check in before the official time and gave me a bed right away. I thought the shower was fine and the internet was good as well. Overall a decent to good hostel that isn't too far from all the main sights.

I stayed there for a night and it was great. I slept well and everything was above average. Well done zebra!

Zebra Hostel was perfect for a good night sleep, comfy bunks, clean and friendly helpful staff. A well equipped kitchen, free breakfast each morning, 24 hour reception and free internet access. I didnt even need to use ear plugs! Thank you Zebra Hostel!

really liked this hostel. clean linens, safe lockers, good vibe, hot water, and a zebra print rug. what more could you ask for. a bit of a hike from the nearest metro (at least when you have a backpack).

I was searching for the REAL hostel in Milan for a long time, because a lot of small hotels call themselves as a hostel, but they are not! "ZEBRA Hostel" is exactly what I was looking for and this hostel, on my opinion, is the BEST or one of the best in Milan! Good atmosphere, nice people and owner. This place is also good for those, who come alone, because here you can easily find new friends. Breakfast includes: cereals, milk, tea, coffee, toasts, butter, honey, jams, biscuits, sometimes fruits. There is also a good kitchen, where is possible to cook. You can use Internet 24 hours for free. There are two computers for those who don't have lap-top. Downstairs of a hostel is a night club which works on weekends (but this club is moistly for very young people). What's bad? Showers are not comfortable and there is no place to put your things. In rooms is the same, but everything other is OK. I can recommend this place.

Excellent facilities and service, nice clean rooms and toilets. Kitchen with a lot of stuff to use and games and books for leisure. Great! One thing about the security though; when leaving our luggage in the storage room during our last day we could easily have taken any bag we wanted when we came back. If someone knows about it, you could easily go in and pick whatever bag, even if you haven't stayed at the hostel at all. They didn't check our identity or asked if we had stayed at the hostel at all.

We had a really nice stay at the Zebra Hostel. Although the showers weren't great, the nice atmosphere in the hostel makes up for it. The staff was really nice and helpful and I would definitely go there again!

It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad either. There's definitely a lot of noise for nearby bars and such, so not recommended for those trying to get an early night sleep.

The sound proof is not good enough. It's especially hard to get to sleep during night club weekends.

Had a good time, was in a good location. My main complaint was some of the guys of the staff acting inappropriately. One of them followed a high school girl to her bed and bothered her in the middle of the night- not cool, def overstepping boundaries. He apologized by offering her alcohol on multiple occasions. If youre a girl be wary of the staff.

I enjoyed the hostel but be cautious if you don't really like to party. The first night I arrived, there was a huge party in the basement that kept me up all night. The next night, however, was nice and quiet. Location is a bit difficult to find but only a 20 minute walk from the town center. Couldn't find many places to eat near the hostel but I managed. Pretty safe. There are lockers in the rooms and you can keep your large bags with them during the day. Staff was very friendly and gave me information and directions. Common room and bedrooms very clean. Bathroom was acceptably clean but not amazing.

I read a lot of negative comments when choosing this hostel, and I found its really not that bad. The party on Friday night was two levels below where the dorms are, and the door is kept shut, so noise wasn't a problem. Some of the dorms do have curtains instead of doors, so you can hear people in other rooms, but it wasn't anything worse than what I have experienced in other hostels. If you sleep lightly or want to go to bed early then you shouldn't be sleeping in a dorm. Location was decent, many restaurants nearby. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great communal area and cool party. I met some really nice people there and had a good time. Bathrooms were a bit average as was the breakfast. For what it is, this hostel is certainly overpriced, but so is ever other hostel in Milan. I would recommend it, especially for meeting people, and I would come back here.

The hostel is ok but it's location is not very central, and the nearest metro station is not very close to the hostel but there's the tram stop. Some of the staff members are not very nice, the showers are not confortable at all, although I'd definitely stay there again.

The place is in a brilliant location; well designed, with big TV/internet room; good breakfasts and very nice staff; the only thing are the showers - not very clean and a bit to uncovered; I stayed there for three days and it was a perfect choice for that period of time. I would definately choose it for the second time.

The reviews for the hostel were pretty accurate really - some rooms don't have doors, just curtains so you can hear everything in the other rooms. There is a club downstairs that played music until about 3 am on the Friday even though it was basically empty. There are mosquitoes. But wireless is free, they have a breakfast and there are lockers in each room. It isn't the worst hostel I've stayed in..

I had a good experience at Zebra Hostel. The best part was the kitchen. You can buy groceries to cook your own food and they have everything you need at the hostel, so that was convenient. The club was a bit loud on Friday night, but I sleep like a log. You have lockers in your room as well to lock up any small items. I would recommend a room with 6 beds not 12. The 12 bed rooms don't have doors, just curtains. Nothing over the top special, but a decent place to stay! I would stay here again if I was back in Milan.

Zebra H. is a pleasant hostel, cosy, well located and easy to find. The only thing that I didn't like were the bathrooms that weren't that neat... Nevertheless if you're looking for cheap, comfortable and well located rooms in the expensive Milano, this is it.

My first hostel in mi first trip. Really it was very good. Nice staff, good breakfast, good location, free wifi, etc. Some noisy at night but if you are looking for fun at that time it would be good. I will like to come back someday.

In a great location just a 10-15 min walk to the duomo, staff were excellent, the room wasnt locked but had lockers in them that you could use if you had your own lock, showers where clean. overall good place to stay

Great hostel. Only stqyed one night but was nice to hang out in the communal area and tqlk to some nice people. Cheqp beer too which was nice.

I was only here for a night but it certainly fit my needs. I met some cool people, got a good nights sleep, felt safe, so overall it was definitely a good experience. It was a little loud at night but more in a way that you wished they were a little quieter before drifting off to sleep rather than it being an actual obstacle.

Great hostel! You will meet lots of people while staying here. The staff have lots of helpful advice if you ask for it (and they're nice to look at too). There is also a nightclub downstairs exclusively for hostel guests. The only bad points are that it takes a bit of effort to cover yourself while showering and that some of the rooms don't have doors.

The place was so cool, a bit too much white, but still very clean and fun place to be with their nightclub downstairs and ridiculously big dorms! great place to make new friends and wnjoy after all there is nothing to do in Milan except for football games and shopping. =]

Milan was pretty boring, you can pretty much see it in one day. But this hostel was fun, it was very lively and the staff was very nice. Day trip up to lake como though! Amazing

The hostel is very cool and big, i never had that much space even though i was in a 12 bed dorm. They have wifi but they have only one computer, there should be more, then everything would be perfect.

3 showers with curtains, clean, also 3 sinks and toilets which I liked. I was able to pick a bed so I picked one with a door. Great new mattresses! Mosquitos everywhere although there was mesh at the windows. Good location next to tram, a little further from metro, but also in walking distance to the city center. Quite loud at night. Why doesn´t the door close automatically to the dorms?

A very nice new and modern Youth Hostel. The dorm's were spacious and in my opinion (End of July) not that hot during the night. It's a great hostel to meet people, with lots of common space and their own small bar. The shower's are a bit strange and not very practical, but are clean.Very safe with CCTV and the staff were nice and laid back. I would definitely stay here again however my only real complaint would be the price, which at 30Euro is too expensive. Oh and the breakfast is great....

This was almost a really good hostel. They did a lot of things right. Great common area with a good kitchen. Fun bar that is good for hanging out but not partying. Friendly helpful staff, big rooms with comfy beds. That being said there were just a few small things lacking that kept this from being a great hostel. One ex would be the broken toilet paper holder that would take 30 seconds to fix, except that no one took the time. There were a lot of things that would be easy fixes, but no one did.

The showers were not my favourite part but all in all I had a good stay. Not reccommended if you want to keep to yourself and sleep!

We were only in Milan for one night. We got there at 4pm and left 8 am the next morning. The time inbetween was only at the Zebra hostel - and we loved it!!!! Good atmosphere. Late at night we went downstairs and played instruments to the early morning hours. Great times!

Nice big airy common room and kitchen, however no aircon in the rooms; toilets and showers are not of the best arrangement but is ok. Otherwise seems to be one of the better hostels in Milan, modern and friendly. Cleanliness is good too except in the toilets.

Location is good. It's easy to find. But U should get to hostel be metro from train station. There is wi-fi access in the hostel not only in hall, but in sleeping room too. Nice disign (everithing is white). BUT I have attacked by moscitoes!!!Take smth to protect yourself (spray,etc.) =)) Nice breakfast, but COLD coffee. I did care, because I like drinkink it in the morning. At the same time there are fruits and U can cook your own in the kitchen. Nice stuff=)

It is not far from the city centre: you can easily walk the way to the Duomo square. Unfortunately, if you want some night life, you'll need a taxi, which they told us it's not very cheap. Apart from that, all was pretty much ok at the hostel, but you may find earplugs helpful there.

i have put that this hostel was good for cleanliness, because it was, kitchen and bathroom area was always clean and spotless, but myself and few other guests had quite bad BED BUG bites, to top this off because it was very hot at night the windows had to be open so the hostel had quite a few mosquitos flying around, i think if mossie nets were put over the windows it would help a lot with this problem, but otherwise a good hostel

It is not too easy to find it at the first time, but no big deal. It is realy near the Duomo, 15 min walk. It is very clean and the staff is helpful. If I came back to Milan, I would come back to this hostel.

The place itself is good, the beds are ok and taking the right way and with the properly speed you can really get to Duomo in 15 minutes. I particularly didn't like the bathroom and showers though they were clean. Price is reasonable.

The staff was great, the location even better. My only complain would be that the lockers don't fit any luggage (not even the smallest ryanair cabin baggage dimensions). Other than that me and my friend are very pleased with our stay at Zebra hostel.

Really big and modern place. Loved the fact it had a kitchen with oven, stove and microwave, Supermarket is very near just across the road. Shame about the lockers not enough space for our bags to fit and had to hire a lock pad.

The Hostel is in a good place, because not far away from the city center, but he is not cloth from the night life..... But you can have party in the Hostel without problem, because of a "disko" downstair... The only problem, is that some dormitory are in the coridoor... so if you need a place totaly quiet is not for you!!! But if you're not so demanding is a really good place!!

Great Hostel

This is a great place to stay. Very sociable, staff are super cool and great value for money. Its only recently opened so things are still getting organised, it will no doubt only get better and better.

Overall, I enjoyed the stay. Though some reviews rate that the dorms are noisy as they are not separated from the main room, I didn't face the problem as I stayed in a single room. Unfortunately, water in the shower room was only cold which I was really disappointed... by the way, the mother of the owner was really kind and helpful!!

The staff are excellent! Leo drove me to a club in his Ferrari (Fiat). As a very new hostel the beds are nice and comfy...no sagging mattresses. Nice friendly atmosphere and vibe, clean and easy-going place which will only get even better as it establishes itself....good kitchen and hang out area, amenities and facilities....it's all good. Thanks Zebras and see you next time.

Staff were friendly and co-operative at all times, the level of service was excellent. Small lockers were provided but staff were also happy to keep our larger bags in a locked room, which we could access at any time. Free Wi-Fi was provided in the kitchen/seating area which was reasonably fast. The hostel also had a small kitchen and sofa area (with large LCD TV). A selection of drinks were available to purchase and bikes could be hired. All areas, including the bathrooms were kept very clean.
